Organic Cleaner

First grade students learned about the harmful effects of toxic cleaners.  They then learned how to make their own organic cleaner with orange peels and vinegar.  Students created posters to encourage their schoolmates to save their orange peels.  They also created pages to go in the school´s  Green Steps Manual.  Students created commercials to be aired on the school´s  morning news to encourage their schoolmates to participate in this initiative as well.
